About a year and a half after Pragmatic Play created its first fishing-themed slot, Big Bass Splash was released. This sequel is closely linked to the original game but features higher fish payout symbols and five new modifiers. 

The 5x3 grid of the game is full of theme-appropriate symbols, including tackle, bait, and of course, fish symbols. The fisherman symbol is also back and has been given a 3D animated upgrade. Moreover, just like with the original, this symbol will only appear during free spins. 

The main attraction of the game is its bonus feature where you can win a variety of instant cash prizes. This sequel has also been given a higher max win limit than the original, and you can win up to 5,000x in a single paid round.

All you need to prepare before playing your first round of Big Bass Splash is to set the value of your wager. Using Pragmatic Play’s intuitive interface, you can change the default bet value by clicking the ‘-’ or ‘+’ buttons on either side of the spin button. When you’ve done that, you can set the reels off by clicking the spin button. 

As the Big Bass Splash reels are spinning you won’t need to do anything but watch the result unfold. Winning combinations are created whenever three or more matching symbols land on the same paylines and are paid out automatically. Similarly, should a bonus round get activated, it will begin automatically right after any payouts. 

Big Bass Splash Features 

The free spins round is the main feature of the Big Bass Splash online slot. Landing three or more scatter symbols triggers this bonus and you’ll get to play with between 10 and 20 free spins to begin with. Like many other top slots, free spins can be retriggered.  

If only two scatters land on the grid, a special feature may activate to introduce a third scatter. This can either occur through a respin or with a hook pulling one of the reels. 

During playing, Splash bonus round, up to five random modifiers are selected and stay active until there are no more free spins. These modifiers can increase the number of fish or fisherman symbols, add additional free spins, or introduce special symbols, such as bazookas or dynamite. 

Every time that a fisherman symbol lands on the Big Bass Splash, any fish symbols present on the grid will instantly pay out their cash prize. If two or more fisherman symbols are present, they will each collect all the cash prizes. Moreover, every 4th fisherman symbol will retrigger the bonus and increase the value of the money symbols.
