    How to Play

    Pacific Boom is a 3x5 slot with 20 winlines. The game features a scatter bonus symbol which will be available on reels 1, 3 & 5 and will trigger 1 of 4 bonus games, depending on what feature symbol lands on reel 5. There are also 4 base game modifiers.

    Game Rules

    Each press of PLAY will action each reel to spin to a random position. Wins are paid for matching some 2 of-a-kind and all 3, 4 or 5 of-a-kind symbols.

    All wins are paid left to right. All line win symbols must appear on a played line and on consecutive reels, beginning with the far left.

    All wins shown on different winlines will be shown and paid to the player.

    The Wild symbol can substitute for ALL other symbols, EXCEPT the Bonus symbol to help create a line win. Using a Wild symbol to complete a line does not incur any extra multiplier other than the win for the symbol(s) it substitutes. Only the highest paying win on each line will be counted.

    During the base game, should a player get 3 scattered bonus symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5, they will trigger one of the 4 features. There is a dedicated feature trigger symbol for each of the 4 features on reel 5.

    Bonus scatter symbols are NOT present during any free spins events.

    Please note that this game is connected to the CORE JACKPOT BONUS (CJB). This game has 7% RTP allocated to the CJB.

    Set Your Stake

    The player can choose their stake by pressing the + and - buttons on the left of the screen. The stake will be shown in the Total Stake meter.


    Modifiers: During the main game, there will be ‘random modifiers’ that occasionally trigger from a spin. After a player presses PLAY, the reels will spin longer than usual whilst a trigger event animates and the following could be won:

    Deep Wilds: Random Wilds appear on reels before symbols land and, once reels come to a halt, award any winnings. A ship will cross the surface of the water and drop (Wild) depth charges into the water. These will settle into certain symbol’s positions. If the ‘Wild’ depth charges connect a winning combination, then the ‘Wild’ depth charges will explode.

    Wild Drop: 1 to 5 reels turn Wild prior to the reels stopping. Between 1 and 4 reels in any of the 5 reel apertures can turn Wild. Once reels come to a halt, any winnings are paid to the player. A ship will cross the surface of the water and drop (Wild) depth charges into the water. These will drop through a column (a full reel) and settle at the bottom of the seabed with bubbles showing that the reel column is now ‘Wild’. If the ‘Wild’ depth charge column connects a winning combination then the ‘Wild’ depth charges will explode the whole reel.

    Up Periscope: Either reels 1/2/3, 2/3/4 or 3/4/5 will turn into a colossus symbol, which can be any symbol from the paytable, (excluding bonus symbols). These symbols will cover 3 reels and will act the same way as if there were 9 individual symbols. A submarine will appear and dive, the reels and screen will blur and darken during the spin. This periscope effect will move left to right and vice versa until it settles on any 3 reels from the 5 in view. The blur will then sharpen and reveal a colossus set of symbols spinning through the periscope. The colossus reel stops and then the periscope fades to reveal the other reels coming to a halt.

    Radar Wilds: 3 Wild symbols appear in patterns. The player will get 1 of 5 patterns creating a line of 3 Wilds. A submarine will appear and dive. During the spin, the screen will have a dark green hue overlay, knocking back the reels. A radar sweep with a green pinline highlights the symbol areas, pivoting from the bottom center position on reel 3, sweeping between horizontal, vertical and diagonal positions. The sweep occurs for a couple of sweeps, then settles on one of the 5 possible outcomes. Wilds will then populate those 3 positions within the sweep, the green hue will fade and then the spinning reels will come to a halt to reveal the result.

    During the main game play, there will be, at random, trigger bonus symbols landing in the reel frames 1, 3, and 5. There will be 4 individual bonus symbols on reel 5, clearly marked with the corresponding bonus round that would activate should it land. All wins in features will be relative to current total bet and the base game paytable

    Once the bonus event has been triggered by one of the 4 bonus symbols on reel 5, the player will be presented with the corresponding feature scenarios below:

    Mine Runner: The player is presented with a underwater scene within the reels. There will be a grid overlaid on the scene with a submarine on the left of the grid. The player is prompted to pick any square on the very left side of the grid. The idea is to guide the submarine through a minefield to safety and a big win on the other (right) side. Once a grid square is selected, the player will either reveal a multiplier or a mine which ends the game. If a multiplier is revealed, this is added to a ‘Multiplier’ meter and the player is prompted to select any neighbouring squares to progress across the grid, left to right. The submarine slowly makes its way across the screen as the player successfully reveals a path. The player keeps picking squares until they hit a mine, and then it’s game over, or they successfully make their way through the minefield to the safety of a big win. Once the feature is over, the final multiplier within the ‘Multiplier’ meter is multiplied by the player's base game stake on feature entry and paid to the player. Results on this feature are pre-determined.

    Royal Blast: Free Spins feature where the lower paying royal symbols are gradually removed. The player is awarded the number of 10 Free Spins. Before every Free Spin, the player has a chance of knocking out the next lowest paying symbol from the award card. This will be presented as missile firing from a ship patrolling the surface. Before each spin, a missile will be fired from the ship which may or may not hit one of the royals within a panel. Before the first spin, the player is guaranteed to knock out the 10. 10s will no longer appear on the reels. Then, the player will hope to knockout the Jack, and so on, so the paytable gets progressively better during Free Spins, (or the chances for bigger wins). Removing the royals will happen in sequence, with the lowest paying symbols being the first to be knocked out, followed the next lowest, and so on. The end of Free Spins is when all 10 spins have been completed.

    Wild Ranks: Free Spins which convert symbols to ‘Wilds’ via collectables. Player is awarded a set number of 12 standard Free Spins. A special, collectable medal symbol is overlaid on a number of reel symbols. If the player collects 3 gold medals, then the highest symbol on the paytable changes to a Wild symbol and the player gets a further number of 3 Free Spins. The player gets 12 Free Spins at start of feature but, if they collect 3 gold medals on the way, they get more Free Spins and the paytable ends up being far more likely to award Wild payouts. Each time the symbols upgrade and are promoted to Wilds, the player is given a further 3 Free Spins. It is possible for ALL the symbols, (H1 to H4), to be Wild symbols, therefore populating the reel bands significantly to create big wins.

    Battlesubs: The player is shown a radar of 3 submarine types, represented beside the reels. During Free Spins, these subs may start to emerge left or right and will move a reel position on every Free Spin. If any Wilds that naturally spin onto the reels land on a submarine, then these Wilds will remain ‘sticky’ and move with the sub on every spin. Also, at the same time, that section of the sub is highlighted on the radar panel, showing how many more sections are needed to be hit to sink and win that subs appropriate value. Wilds that do not hit the enemy subs will spin off every spin. Any Wilds in-play stuck to the subs will contribute as ‘sticky’ Wilds to the game to create wins. The sub awards are still valid to hit and win the associated award unless the whole sub has moved off the reel frame. Subs can come on and leave the reels more than once, however only one sub per row will be possible at any one time and only one of each Sub type will be in view at any given time.


    Pressing the rotating arrow icon, above the play button, will open a dialogue panel from which the player can access the autoplays adjuster. If autoplays are not approved in the jurisdiction, this button will not be available.

    Pressing the ‘menu’ icon, on the right-hand side above the rotating arrow icon , will open the Paytable information. The player can press the arrows left and right to access all the game information. Pressing the ‘X’ button will return the player to the main game interface.

    Accessing the Paytable will allow the player to toggle the sounds on/off. On a device that is compatible, the player can also turn on/off the vibrate function. On launch of the game, the default setting will be ON for both of these options.
    + and - buttons on ‘Total Stake’ adjust the player's Total Stake on each spin.

    Core Jackpots Bonus

    Please note that this game is connecting to the CORE JACKPOT BONUS (CJB). This game has 7% RTP allocated to the CJB. This is a 7 stage bonus game which can trigger 7 progressive global jackpots which are incremented by ANY Core Gaming content that is designed to plug into this system. This is branded ‘Party Pots’.

    During any spin on the game a firework rocket may shoot up from the Party Pots area located at the bottom of the screen. If this explodes then the Party Pots feature has been activated.

    In each level, (Party), the player will be prompted to pick from 26 stars. The player can find the following;

    CASH - Awards cash wins.

    JACKPOT - Win the current progressive amount for the party in play.

    COLLECT - Ends the party event.

    TICKET - Gain 3 VIP tickets to be upgraded to the next party.

    It is possible to be upgraded to all 7 parties. The event is only over if the player finds ‘COLLECT’.

    A progressive pot is only available to be won during the correlating party ‘pick me’ level.

    Progressive Party pots: During each spin, a proportion of the money staked is added to each cashpot. There are seven progressive pots which are:

    House Party pot: seeded at £50

    Pool Party pot: seeded at £100

    Club Party pot: seeded at £200

    Beach Party pot: seeded at £500

    Boat Party pot: seeded at £1,000

    Concert Party pot: seeded at £5,000

    Vegas Party pot: seeded at £15,000

    The progressive party pots consist of a fixed minimum amount which gradually increases by a percentage of funds inputted into the game until it is won. When a party pot is won, it is reset to the seed amount and begins to rise again.

    The progressive party pots are available in "Real Play" only.

    Winning a progressive party pot neither contributes to, nor is affected by, the daily cumulative winnings limit.

    All players contribute 0.1% of each bet placed to the progressive on every game, (0.7% in total).

    Party Pots progressive pots payout will be rounded down to 2 decimal points.

    All players are eligible to win the progressive party pots on every game.

    It is not possible for two players to simultaneously win the same party pot. A party pot is locked when it is being won. This means that no other bets will be accepted for it and only one player at a time is able to win it.

    In the event of a non-responsive game, or problem during a draw, the game will repeat the incomplete draw and display the result to the player when the game is next launched.

    In the event of equipment failure, or planned/unplanned terminations, progressive party pot parameters, (including cashpot values and

    incremental percentages), are fully restored with identical parameters, after re-start.

    Only the highest win per bet line is paid.

    Line wins will pay from left to right only.

    Adjustment of the stake will dynamically alter the awards in the paytable.

    Game Recovery

    In the event of a game in real play being interrupted, (i.e. started but not completed due to connectivity issues or accidentally closing the browser, etc.), depending on the previous state of the game, it will either resume from the point of the last spin or display the outcome of

    the game already in play. The current multiplier on that stake will also be displayed.

    Any winnings will be correctly credited to the player’s account and will be exact according to the result prior to the game being interrupted.

    The maximum payout in one spin in this game, including the ‘Party Pots’ feature, is capped at 250,000, excluding the ‘Party Pots’ progressive Jackpots.
