There are no paylines in Stars of Orion. Instead, winning combinations are created when five or more matching payout symbols land next to each other in any direction to form a cluster. 

Eight symbols provide the slot’s standard payouts, and of these, the 7 is the most valuable. Creating a cluster with between five and 15 matching 7 symbols pays between 0.75x and 200x. Deer symbols come next with payouts of between 0.5x and 45x. 

Wild symbols can also land across the Stars of Orion grid, substituting standard symbols to complete or grow winning clusters. 

Stars of Orion Features 

Like many of our top online slots, Stars of Orion stands out with a host of innovative features that enhance gameplay. 

Avalanche Feature and Magic Meter 

Whenever payout symbols form a winning cluster, they pay out and trigger the Avalanche Feature. This feature removes them from the grid and introduces new symbols to the grid. If new winning clusters form, the feature is retriggered. 

Whenever winning symbols are removed from the Stars of Orion grid, they are collected in the Magic Meter. If enough symbols are collected in the same round, they can trigger win multipliers of between 2x and 64x. They can also activate one of five bonus modifiers. 

The Symbol Swap modifier swaps adjacent symbols, creating winning clusters. Orion’s Belt, Orion’s Club, and Orion’s Shield, meanwhile, activate an extra drop with three, six, and eight wilds respectively. 

If the Orion modifier is triggered, an extra drop is activated and 13 wild symbols fall on the grid, forming the Orion Constellation. 

Super Symbols 

Payout symbols with a blue frame are Super Symbols. When these symbols form part of a winning cluster and connect to a separate winning cluster, they transform all the symbols in the two clusters into the highest-paying of the cluster symbols. 

Stars of Orion Free Drops 

As in most other slots at our online casino, landing three bonus symbols during the Stars of Orion base game triggers a bonus round. The bonus consists of 10 free drops during which the Magic Meter does not reset. 

If the bonus is triggered with three bonus symbols that have a red frame, the Super Bonus round is activated instead of regular free drops. This bonus also consists of 10 free drops but Super Symbols have a much higher rate of landing. 

Free drops can be retriggered with three bonus or Super Bonus symbols. The bonus ends immediately if the slot’s max win limit is reached.
