Video Poker Info
Video Poker is a game from Core Gaming with a classic casino theme that’s been entertaining players since 2014. In a unique twist compared with other video poker games, it lets you play up to 20 hands at once! It’s an entertaining game that newbies and more experienced players should enjoy playing.
Like other modern table games, Video Poker is compatible with mobiles and tablets. The Sky Vegas UK casino interface is user-friendly and works seamlessly on touchscreen devices, both on desktop and app, which is part of the reason it's the go-to destination for casino players.
How Many Hands Will You Play?
You’ll be glad to know that Video Poker is easy to play. When the game loads, choose a stake per hand value, then choose a number of hands. These are multiplied together to get your total bet size per round. Remember, the more hands you choose, the bigger your bet will be.
When you’re ready, hit the play button. Every hand will then receive five cards. For each one, you get to decide which cards you want to keep and which ones you want to discard. If you discard a card, a new one replaces it.
After doing this, the game looks at each hand. If it forms a qualifying poker hand, you win. There are nine hands you can win with: the least valuable is Jacks or Better, while the most rewarding is Royal Flush.
Betting Options
Video Poker has many different bet sizes available because you can play with 1-20 hands. If you’re on a budget, you can simply choose a low stake per hand value and choose a small number of hands.
Video Poker Features
In Video Poker, you’re trying to form the best possible five-card poker hand, with some features to help you along the way.
Discard or Hold Cards
In every round, each hand receives five cards. You then get to decide what to do with each hand, one at a time. If there’s a card you don’t want, you can discard it. If you want to keep a card, you can hold on to it.
Once you confirm your decision, any cards you’ve chosen to discard will leave your hand. New ones will take their place. Hopefully, they’ll improve your hand.
Automatic Hand Recognition
Don’t worry if you aren't a poker pro; you don’t have to figure out what poker hands you’ve got, as the game does all that for you. It clearly shows you which of the nine poker hands yours qualifies as. If your hand wins, you only get paid for the highest-ranking hand it forms.
Gamble Feature
If you win, you have the option to collect or gamble your winnings. If you choose to gamble, you’ll have the chance to either double your winnings or lose them. Bear in mind that the chance of doubling your payout is 50%, so there’s an element of risk here.
